A cosy, take of your family’s Christmas story.

There’s something about Christmas at home that just feels different, isn’t there? Maybe it’s the fairy lights twinkling just that little bit earlier in the evening, or your favourite mug coming out again for hot chocolate season (or mulled wine season, you can't beat a warm mug of the stuff ).

But really, it’s the little traditions that make this time of year feel like home. (My two humoured me for years!)

You know, the way the kids insist on putting all the baubles on the same three branches, (And yes, we are all guilty of re-arranging them later in the evening.) or the kitchen dusted in flour after enthusiastic gingerbread decorating.

The special book that comes out every year - ours was The Night Before Christmas.

Those are the moments we remember.

Those are the memories our children will talk about one day with their own children.

That’s the magic.

My Christmas Lifetyle sessions are relaxed, they happen in your home that capture your little family Christmas traditions: decorating the tree, baking, reading festive stories, and all the cosy magic in between.

The sessions are prices at my normal rate, but if you book before the 25th December you'll save £25!

Let me tell you about the Christmas sessions

They take place in your home, capturing your family doing you thing, whatever that might be during the festive time, simply being yourselves at Christmas.

There's minimal posing.

Absolutely no pressure pressure to preform, although you could be surprsied how much fun it is when you get going.

100% no “everyone smile at the same time!”

Just you, the family and your ordinary traditions…which are actually extraordinary.

Here's some ideas of what this could include:

• Decorating the tree together

• Making hot chocolates or mulled wine

• Baking gingerbread men or decorating a festive cake

• Reading a favourite Christmas story

• Cosying up in front of the fire together

• Wrapping gifts

• Or wandering outside for five minutes of fresh air with rosy cheeks & woolly hats

Whatever Christmas looks like for you, that’s what we’ll document.

This isn’t about creating a perfect moment, it’s about capturing one that’s already there, one that's there this year but might not be next.

You just never know when the last magical Chritsmas might happen, the excitement, the build up and the absolute certainty that Father Christmas can deliver a gift the ever child in the world in just one night. .

These are not mini sessions

Mu lifestyle sessions are not staged or styled, I'll give you a little pointer if you need me too, but otherwise, we'll just crack in with the festivitoes and I'll photograph it.
